rev. Elijah Kondeh
Elijah Kondeh is the founder of The Journey Conference and loving husband to Lehlieh Kondeh.He is also the founder of Words of Encouragement LLC & part owner of the Speak It Tour; platforms which he speaks to inspire his generation to walk in positive purpose. Elijah received his B.A from St. Cloud State University; majoring in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in Leadership & Organization. Years after receiving his B.A, he spent time working in Education, as a behavioral specialist. By doing so, it sparked an interest to further his education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities; for a master’s degree in Education. He graduated with an M. ED in Youth Development Leadership. Elijah has been able to reach over 8,000 individuals over the last several years, after he decided that he has a message that people may need to hear. Elijah was invited to speak on live TV in Winnipeg, Canada about his Anti-Bullying Campaign, he started back in 2016. He has been able to create his own drivers education course, which he intends on teaching young people, on not just the importance of driving, but use it as a metaphorical tool, that in order to be great and achieve the vision you may have for yourself, you must get in the driver’s seat and drive carefully and make wise decisions on the road to your destiny, while being cognizant of other drivers; building and sustaining great relationship. Elijah’s core competencies include: Youth Engagement, Programming Juvenile Justice Policy Development, Community Engagement, Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Program Management and Multicultural Competency. He travels to various high schools, Universities, and organizations teaching others on how to discover their gifts. He is the author of the book, “That’s More Content” and Sandaka’s Seed, which is a children’s book; teaching on the importance of planting a seed (dream) and making sure you take care of it and seeing it through. He believes that in order to receive fulfillment in life, you must first discover your purpose in God. Elijah’s life experiences have helped him cultivate a pedagogy; which identifies clear steps to discovering your purpose.
